Commercial Gen Sets
Cummins Power Generation generator sets are the heart of any on-site
power system. Generator sets include a prime mover fueled by diesel,
natural gas or propane, and an alternator that provides power at
50 Hz or 60Hz, depending on the application. PowerCommand™
models and our digital master control facilitate paralleling with
other generators or the power grid. Our generator sets are the result
of integrated design and manufacturing intended to meet your requirements
for reliability, power quality, rated performance, and efficient
operation.
Our Diesel powered generator sets are available in sizes ranging
from 7 kW to2.7 MW. These clean modern diesels with optional exhaust
aftertreatment are suitable for either emergency/standby power,
continuous or prime power applications.
Our Spark-ignited (stoichiometric) natural gas / propane engine
generator sets are available in sizes from 5 kW to 150 kW. These
are suited to mid-sized applications where on-site fuel storage
is restricted, a continuous supply of natural gas is readily available
or there are local environmental considerations.
Cummins lean-burn natural gas engine generator sets are available
in sizes ranging from 315 kW to 2 MW. These feature very low emissions
and are suitable for prime power and combined heat and power (CHP)
applications. Low BYU fuel options available on specific models.
